Went on a day trip to Mont Saint Michel that was planned by our study abroad school, Neoma Business School. The bus journey was 3 hours. We sat through Rouen’s sunrise and sunset.
Mont Saint Michel is in the middle of a flat land. It is made up of the strongest rocks that were able to withstand the ebbing of waves. The tide rises in the evening and surrounds this entire abbey.
To be honest, we weren’t very much impressed with the church. Maybe because we weren’t history buffs. We had 5 hours here but in 2 hours, we were pretty much done with the walk AND our picnic lunch.
I had trouble squeezing through this narrow alley. Uh oh. Something evident here. Not cool.
